A foreign entity planning to enter into Indian markets has options such as to open a Liaison office/Branch office/Project office or to establish a Wholly Owned Subsidiary. Liaison Office (LO) and Branch Office (BO) provide a window to foreign investors to have the initial understanding of the business environment in India.
